Bon Jovi idol'Extra' spoke to Jon Bon Jovi about his band?s upcoming appearance on American Idol ? Bon Jovi is performing on the hit-show Wednesday night. He confessed, 'I?ve never seen the show until Gwen Stefani performed on it, weeks ago.'
About whether or not Bon Jovi would have made it to Hollywood if he had auditioned for AI, he admitted, 'If I had gone through the process of American Idol at that age and that time in my life, I would never have gotten to Hollywood!'
Bon Jovi said that some of the songs on the new album, Lost Highway out this June, are about band mate Richie Sambora?s divorce from Heather Locklear. He added, 'I felt every bit of it with the exception of being in their shoes.' Jack Penate and The Strokes come together
Jack Penate featured at the debut of former Test Icicles member Dev Hynes' solo project Lightspeed Champion in London tonight (July 19).
Penate joined the band for a cover of the John Martyn's classic 'Over The Hill' introduced as a "special guest."
The star studded show was the debut London solo gig by the former grot rocker and also featured The Horrors singer Faris Rotter.
The singer featured on the track 'I Could Have Done This Myself', the band was augmented by support act Emmy The Great on violin and backing vocals.
Before the track 'No Surprise' he said: "It's not about incest but it is for my mum."
The band ended with a performance of a version of The Strokes 'New York City Cops'
Hynes told the audience: "Thanks so much for coming it means so much to me."
